Hey Shock. In WA State is it just a $50 fee and paperwork that we fill out to get the permit?
Yea, just go to your local PD, fill out two peices of paper, 60 bucks and fingerprints, and 15 minutes later your out the door. I was amazed, it was tougher to get a block-buster card than a concealed pistol permit here. PLUS, if you have your CCW, you can cash and carry a pistol, as in no 7 day wait.

I have a 2" Taurus 650BB CIA I think is the model. It'sa .357 snubby that I carry in an ankle holster on the outside of my right leg for easy access.
If I want to carry open, (I live in VA where ANYBODY over 18 can open carry), I have a Kimber Custom 1911 .45ACP that I carry cross draw on my left side. It keeps it from digging into my "dunlop"

I have a lovely Smith& Wesson 642. I bought it with the intent of getting my concealed carry permit (my Pops has one), but I have yet to take the course. When/if I do, I will happily take it with me on longer rides.
