As a recepient of a settlement, and seen many firsthand, it's never quick and painless. More like a pain in the ***, then most times you never get what you were told, and get even less after attorneys fees.
theres a place with a 04 f4i a year older than the one i had for 4k with some rash and missing a turn signal. i am thinking of calling see if they will take 3800. it has 4000 miles. i dont know though becuase i realy do not want to have to try and sell latter
I think most of all you need to do whats best for you....
I remember this post now...
I think the car you ran into was in the turn lane?

If I just crashed my bike, I wouldn't be looking to startoff on the top of the heap either. You are smart to get a used bike, youwill like it enough to not want to get a new bike for a long time. You'll save tons of money. Plus by the time you actually know how to ride with any competence, the next models will be out and your decision will be easier because you'll have experience and a pile of cash, maybe an 848 it is in your future.
Get a nice used bike, save your money, plus chicks don't know the difference between an 04 or an 07 or a RR or a R6 or a ducati or a MV, so the most important thing is to GET ON TWO WHEELS NOW and go get some hotties!!!! Summer is HERE, get some chicks, listen to some Jan and Dean music hang out at the beach with Moon-doggie and Annette and her friends...STOP SCREWING AROUND...LIFE IS SHORT.

Where do you live that any type of settlement takes less than 2 months!
As a recepient of a settlement, and seen many firsthand, it's never quick and painless. More like a pain in the ***, then most times you never get what you were told, and get even less after attorneys fees.

Maybe i am just lucky but i have not had any incidents take longer than a couple of weeks.
It should never take a couple of weeks, and plus if you have an attorney whos head isnt in his *** you should have had your attorneys fees included in the settlement.. sheesh.
