i am waiting on a setlement from a accident. i am thinking i am not going to have that for 1.5-2 months now. its starting to get warm, riding is possible. i have been waiting and waiting and am tired of waiting. i am thinking of buying a 03-04 rr or a f4i again and selling it in 2-3 months then get a new 07. there is a 04 with light cosmetic dmg to the right side with 3k miles in my area they are asking 5k. i am thinking of offering like 4200? if i can get this for around that amount do you think i should get it and then sell to buy a new 07 in a few months or wait? also another reason i am thinking of buying a used one is i have only 1k miles exp and dropping a new bike seams very possilbe.

Go for it...you'll probably get what you payed if you buy wisely, so no loss of money plus you will have had the ride time too...

yea i would def do that.
like you said you dont have alot of exp. yet so you might as well learn on one that can be a beater for you
then maybe in a few months (or next riding season) you can trade it in and get a new one.

 

WOW thats a dilema...id say get something alot smaller and cheaper.
With only 1k exp under your belt and youve been in an accident maybe a cheaper "starter bike" might be a better choice otherwise throw caution to the wind and just get a 07 1KRR...

 

no i am not getting a 1k rr i am geting a 600 rr 07. but how does that price sound for a 04 with dmg?

 

+1000 on going used first! ... Take your time when searching though. Get some miles under your belt and then have at an '07
