Never has it been clearer how detached President Bush is from the priorities of the American people

Those plans sound so great, they just aren't practical. If he had let it go through, then you would knock him for spending too much government money on a very expensive program. And no I am not a Bush fan, so don't say that, I just support the decision.

Thats what I was thinking. Hell Bush is one man and the Senete and most of the House tryed to over ride his veto.

I'm reading now that they're claiming that ther was some sort of "smoke & mirrors" method for funding of this. If that's true, then it could be understandable and fixed and re-submitted. If it's not, then I think there is definitely a problem with priorities going on here.

I would much rather see a smoke and mirror funded childrens' health insurance program than some of the BS amnesty ideas he's come up with for illegal immigrants. Of course, there's the war that we would all like to see ended. But, throwing people and money at problems seems to be company and government ways of doing things. I think that good strategy, priority and efficiency would be better motives for methods.
