***BREAKING***AMA bought by Wayne Rainey&Co.

So long DMG. Krave Group LLC (run with Wayne Rainey and Chuck Aksland) has bought the rights to AMA Pro Road Racing. It'll be run by MotoAmerica (set up by Krave) and the AMA will now be run in conjunction with the FIM. This will help to create a pipeline to get racers onto the world-circuit.

There is some Dorna connection, but considering how much DMG ruined the AMA, I welcome them.

This is not just important to racing fans, it should appeal to every motorcyclist in America. It can only help our perception to the public and attract people who don't really know anything about motorcycle racing in it's current state.

It needed something. That's for sure.

Is US Superbike Racing on the Verge of a Revival?

This is another good take. I hope that we do a CEV like series, where we have a moto3, moto2, and then a Superbike class.

However, news today makes one error in that article. Josh Herrin was released today by AirAsia. I certainly can't fault them for firing him. Sure, he has had some bad luck, but his stint in moto2 has been one of the worst showings for Americans on the world level...

I think his stint is representative of just how bad it's become in the US. Hopefully Beaubier doesn't disappoint, as it looks like he may get a shot relatively soon at the World Level.
