bout to have a problem ar work
Unless there is something specifically in the company policy I don't see how they can dictate how you get to and from work, and if it is in the company policy, I'd be calling discrimination.
Haha well they didnt straight up say, "Do not ride" but i was working at a bank then and i guess it wasnt professional or "stuck-up" enough (IMO) and they kept giving me crap about it, said it gave off a reckless image (and i DO NOT ride recklessly! Just smart and all the gear all the time!). The customers thought it was cool tho!
hell I'm about to petition for some dedicated MC spots in the parking lot. Damn Harley rider that comes in an hour before me keeps grabbing the spot I was parking in.
I don't know what to say. I've worked in some pretty restrictive dress code places and have never seen or heard of anyone complaining about how someone looked entering or exiting the building. Its understandable when your at work, but going to and from is an odd thing to complain about.
is your coat like a big fluffy pimp coat?
Not to be critical, but as you said, it does sound as though they are looking for excuses to get rid of you. How has your performance been? Have there been any complaints outside of the office? I've seen many times where a supervisor is not happy with an employee's performance, but doesn't want to say it. Instead, they will look for rediculous reasons to either make you quit or find a way to fire you. They try really hard to not have to face up to being the one that is doing the firing. Its much easier when they can find an excuse and make it your fault and not theirs. It could be any number of things though. It could be a personality conflict, a fellow employee or supervisor could be threatened by you: as in fearful of you taking their job. I've seen really talented people let go for just that reason.
Hopefully you get some answers though. It would probably make for a pretty stressful situation.
It's a huge bike, lol.

That's a little crazy, but why did you stop? As long as you weren't wearing your jacket, gloves and helmet IN the bank, what did it matter how you got to work? Maybe they were jealous that you had the ***** (not literally, hahaha) to ride to work.
Kuro, if there isn't anything in the handbook and you are in compliance ON the clock, like adrenalnjunky said "f-em"
