it's a helmet with the heads up display installed in it. it's kinda cool, but like i've said before about HUD, i don't wanna give up any of my forward view. it's not that big of a hassle for me to look at the stock gauges. i wouldn't spend money on it.

The idea is pretty cool. But, I agree, i'd rather look down and know i'm looking down than be distracted by the HUD while looking forward through the visor. Good find though!!

On a side note, they're soon going to be releasing a mini-projector to play DVD's onto the helmet visor to view while riding

i dont think i would spend money on it either, just one of those nifty inventions no one will probably ever use.

Yup, but, BMW bought the idea off someone so that person made thier money. I wonder if the "in-helmet" DVD player will be next. Designed specially for passengers on long trips. Crap, i'm giving too much away. There goes my chance at greatness!! [:-]

Those techknowlegies are used in jet fighters in all of the new jets, some in the visor others in the cockpit windshield

On that web site it claims to be the first heads up display for a motorcycle helmet ever. It isn't someone posted one on here that is already out and available to the public ages ago.
