Blue ridge parkway
has any body driven this road on a bike? I rember taking a road trip when i was little and driving on this road (well i wasnt driving, i was like 10 years old) and i just rember that it was really windey with not much on it as far as other roads or cars or any thing. it just seems like a fun road to tear up because its super long (a couple hundred miles or so with some sections of around 25 miles with no other roads intersecting it at all). I hear alot of talk about deals gap and dragon but i also hear about the cops on it. i was wonder if the blue ridge pkwy is a bust as well or is it a pretty good road to take on a road trip.
I hit up the parkway a lot. It's definately worth checking out, the road is very twisty and pretty well maintained. You don't see cops up there, you see park rangers. Some of the overlook's are pretty nice too.

not sure where you are riding from, but mt. mitchell is a must see.
there is a resturant and lookout on top. the parkway has a 45mph
speed limit but there is a lot to look at. very pieceful ride. enjoy...
