bike might be going away for a..
I'm not into cars like I use to be. I'm trying to sell a bad *** truck to get another bike. I would never sell my bike to get a car. Do what you want, but bikes are more fun then cars.
First off, very nice choice of car, my plans are to find a nice clean Aspen White 05 with low miles when I get a steady income after I graduate, that's my favorite model year of the STi[sm=Awwww.gif], but the 06-07 is starting to grow on me.
I woudn't want to take a nice car to a campus parking lot like a few of the other members have said, people have no respect for nice cars and with parking spaces being so tight with so many students there is a good chance some inconsiderate asshat is going to give you some door dings or back into you. I have seen a number of people pop someones car with their car door and just walk off, it would be a shame if that nice car got messed up because of someone like that. Also, you'll probably get the mod bug if you get that car, there is a huge aftermarket for them and once you get going with modding the thing it'll become pretty addictive, and you won't have money for the fun things you want to do. That's pretty much what has kept me from getting one, that and i know I couldn't get away with having an STi and keeping my bike too. Just give it some thought for financial reasons, getting something that will get you through school andwaiting until you graduate to get onemight be better because you could still afford the bike as well as the car!

+1, Parking on campus is terrible for getting your car bumped, hit by other car's doors, etc. I hated parking my Trans Am on campus, now that I'm running a Jeep with a few dings from playin in the woods and mud it's not so bad. I think people generally try and not touch my truck for fear of getting mud and dirt all over them.

If you're planning on going to college, I emplore you to wait on buying a nice car that you have to finance. While at college money will be tight, you'll have spring break trips that you'll want to go on and not have to worry about money, bars to go to, ladies to buy drinks for or dinners, drunk people running into your car, etc. Get something you can afford to beat up but still be reliable and not have to finance more then a year for.

yeah man i say don't do it. Wait till after college for the nice car - if you need some $$$ sell that car that is too low (it's a neon, right?) and buy a civic or if you want 4wd get an early to mid ninety's jeep. The only time I would want a jeep (wrangler) is for college, my buddy had one and I gotta tell you it was TONS of fun in the snow, but there's just real little practicality.
keep the bike, you'll regret getting rid of it.

Yeah, bikes are godsends on campus. You can skip thestudent (practice)lot and park right up in a safe area. It saves so much time and hassle. You will want your bike back the first time you spend a half hour parking and walking to class andone pulls up, parks, and walks right in. That's half the reason I started riding in the first place.

I like the WRX STi, awesome performance for what it is,but, it is just so f**king ugly, are your sure you can look at that thing everyday and be happy? If the car were slow, could you bear to be seen in it? If it were slow, would you want to look at it?
It just seems to me that for the 2% of the time you can use its performance, you still have to look at its ugliness 100% of the time.
It is like dating a wonderful girl with the face of a hog. Yeah she is kind, yes she can cook, she doesn't cheat, she is great in bed, but when it is all over and at the end of the day, you still have to look at her.
I'm sorry, I couldn't do it, a car is like a woman, looks matter.
