Bike Falls If Parked on Pavement in Summer???
Thank you very much people. From now on, I will be carrying a kickstand support on my bike. The weather is getting colder but I know I will forget about it if i say "I'll do it later".

It's true and it even happens hear in Ohio. I don't carry anything with me since it's getting alot cooler hear now, but come summer time I sure will.

yup, this isnt a myth, 100% true.....
down in texas if you park your CAR on blacktop the tires will sink in about an inch an hour on a mild summer day.
they have all but gotten rid of blacktop in the south for that reason.....also cheaper sacrete from mexico might be helping out there too....
if you have nothing else available a beer coaster will do the trick short term....

I once used my front reflectors when I parked in a field for some photos... worked great... but yeah anything to give the stand a wider base is what you need. you can get a 4" blank Electrical box cover... works great
In Centralia, PA, you can go to the closed down part of the highway and litterly have the soles of your sneakers start melting. Granted you are standing over a coal mine fire that has been burning for well over a decade. I'm pretty sure the people in the local cemetary are extra crispy by now.
