WOW! Not good luck today!!

Is it a good battery for SURE?? It could also be your voltage regulator.

I have had all the same problems with my CBR, but they are all fixed now.

I'm having the same prob w/ my 954rr I think my stator is bad. Someone suggested to me to get repair manual and multimeter and test charging system. That is my plan for the weekend. My bike went down on left side and cracked stator cover, stator looked ok, now I'm not so sure. Check it out, may be something there.

Look for a burnt winding on your Stator

This should be moved to General Tech forum.

This is annoying as ****
From what I've read, a bad stator could've been shooting to many volts to rectifier which will burn it up, thus giving me esults as I am currently having.
Stator is brand new, whoever advised to check that
Battery is brand new, I bought it.

The rectifier can be changed easily, right??

Yes, the voltage regulator is under the right side tail plastic and is held on by 2 - 8mm bolts.

This was the latest problem my bike had. Stranded me 2 miles from home, so I know how it feels to walk from a dead bike. The regulator was the problem. Luckily I had a spare wiring harness from an F3, so I swapped it out that day.

Dirty connectors could also be a problem, but most likely not to that extent.

How long have you owned this bike? Are these new problems?

well, atleast you got to walk along side it.. I walked a fair distance with mine.. and I got so tired by the end, the bike fell over on me. I just went and sat on the ground next to it trying to catch my damn breath after walking the stupid pig up a hill.

Didn't really walk beside it, lol....I had to push it. 900cbr vs 5'5" 115lb guy wasn't very fun
