OK I'm in the Xmas rut right now. Nothing good is coming out until the holiday season starts . So I'm stuck going back through the library of games I haven't finished or games devs didn't think could make the cut. So who's playing what?

I just finished Infamous 2 and Uncharted 2. Both made me glad I waited this long. Uncharted because Uncharted 3 comes out and Infamous was a good filler game. I just grabbed Fifa 12 on Sunday and it'll be my "Go To" game for when i get home from work. Batman: Arkham City barely lasted 2 days (I'm not one to go for the 100% completion bonus).

I WILL be getting CoD: MWIII and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim on release day. But that's like a week+ and I'm finding!

 

"boarderlands" and "Assasins Creed" are good ones. "left 4 dead" one and two are always fun. and i've heard good things about "rage" and "Dead Island" but i dont have personal experience with those.

 

i have a habit of playing old games to keep me busy waiting for releases too. Currently im playing thru gladius again since i hadnt played it since 04ish. I also started ff7 since i briefly remember trying it as a kid. Trying to get my rpg fix until skyrim also. Rage is decent if you havent played it and made by bethesda like elder scrolls and had a rpg element to it. Bf3 is good but not as good as i hoped. Dead island is also fun but after the second playthru gets old. I started resistance 3 with the sharpshooter and its a great game if you like straight up shooters.

 

foooorrrzzzaaaaa. i just wrecked and im stuck home with a healing collar bone, deffinately thinking about getting an xbox just to play it again

 

+1 to forza i cant wait for 4 to come out. Ive been playing gears of war 3 and left for dead mostly until cod comes out.

 

Can't finish any of the Assassin's Creed series. Since I'm not am100%'er it pisses me off having to do things like find every viewpoint or do the platforming crypts for Altier's armor. Just give me the target and let me kill 'em

 

Pick up Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2.

That should tide you over for a little bit.

Other games worth playing - Red Dead Redemption. Fallout 3 (new vegas I thought wasn't as good).

God of War series.

Dragon Age games.

Kuro you have a PS3 correct? If so get Gran Turismo 5 if you don't have it already. Best game out there. It will keep you busy for months. Like Nate said Red Dead Redemption. It is a fantastic game. I might get F1 2011 as I will have 13 days in a row off for Christmas and will have nothing to do. I've played F1 2010 for a bit and liked it and hear this one is better.
