with the vortex crash they use bell star shields... And you can get the shields like transition lenses that get darker as it gets light.. And yea I really like both. The guy sellin the scorp. Is a dbag though

I also have my eye on a bell star but only if I can pick it up cheap

But on a real note - I'd go with the Scorp EXO 1000.
I had a Scorpion EXO 400 - I liked it a lot except it weighed about 50lbs.

The 1000's are much lighter. I considered buying one, but then decided to go with the Shoei

I would also go with the Scorpion. I tried out a Exo-700 I think it was last year and really liked it. I imagine the 1000 is even nicer.

I have to ask though, where are you gonna pick up one for 170, aren't they like 300?
