I love beer, maybe a bit too much but that's another story entirely. Lets see your favorite, or even not so favorite beers.

I highly recommend Harbin lager. It's a bit spendy here in the states but well worth it.

One of the finest micros you will ever drink is right here in Idaho Falls Idaho. The Brownstone Brewery. If you EVER pass through Idaho Falls do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and stop in and have a few. You will not regret it.

My favorite beer? Wow! That's like asking which one of my kids I love the most. For me, it's very much based on the situation. This is going to take a bit of consideration.

For now, I'll say that I love belgian ales. Specifically trappist and abbey ales. Duvel is great, so is Trappistes Rochefort 8, and St Bernardus Abt 12. Brewery Ommegang is a stateside brewer who makes good Belgian style beers.

A great session beer for me is Fat Tire by New Belgium in Colorado. Awesome amber ale, but I live east of the mississippi, so i can't have it often.

If I'm going to be sucking back a few at a BBQ... PBR!

I'm also really happy with a big local brewer: Great Lakes. Everything they have is really solid, but their dortmunder is outstanding. I'm really enjoying their christmas ale right now.

Fat tire is plentifull around here. Moose Drool is rather good as well.

Here's another from my highly recommended list. Alaskan Smoked Porter. Holy hell this is good beer!

I'd love to try it. I've had Stone's smoked porter, and thought it was tasty
