He should be here around St. Patty's Day actually... due date is March 20th. Those sleepless nights are inevitable, but they only last a while - the fun days will last a a lot longer. Don't be surprised if you see a couple 4 am posts from me next spring!

Congrats! Like many have said, your life will completely change when he's born, and for the better. Mine is almost 13 months and I love every minute of it. Lots of time and energy trying to keep up with him but there's nothing better.
Get plenty of sleep before she has him because after he's born it will be a life of sleep depravation for a while...
Like I said though, worth every minute of it though, ESPECIALLY the first time he utters, "DADA".

OK guys and girls, we finally had our baby last Friday, the 23rd. He's very healthy andvery big: 8 lbs. 15 oz., 21" long.
Figured I would post a pic really quick-like!!!! This was taken the day after we brought him home.

PS. On a side note, please say a little prayer for my friend Travis who was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident this week (those in mid-Michigan may have heard about it). I'll makea long story short and say this: He is very lucky to even be alive, but he is and that's all that matters.

newborns are actually easier to take care of than 3 months down the line...you'll see...mauahahhhhhhahhaha
advice is to nap when they nap...get up when the get up...leave the house a mess...for now...you can thank me later.

Congrats! They truely are a blessing, my third is due here on April 21st, another boy! My oldest is a girl and my second was a boy, and like you stated earlier it will be thier job to look after their big sister and report back to daddy
