AWD motorcycle

I was reading my newest edition of Motorcyclist and came across a AWD motorcycle built by Christini and just had to see how this worked cause there is no chain driving the front wheel. The technology and engineering is just amazing.

Don't know much about previous attempts at this in motorcycles, but it's been done on mountain bikes in the past.

I'm trying to figure out though...I know when the front wheel rotates during a wheel it helps balance (which makes sense). So I'm trying to figure out if this will make longer wheelies easier.

Also curious to see who will be the first to put the bike up on it's nose than hit the throttle and try to ride a nose wheelie...

I also see bent forks become a more expensive fix hahahaha

I wonder how it compares to the Ohlins hydraulic system performance-wise. Seems like the Ohlins would be more easily adapted to different motorcycles, since the system isn't integrated into the frame and forks, but I can't find any information on power loss. Either way, they're both cool systems.

There were mini bikes in the 60's and 70's that were awd, my dad used to have one, they were advertised as all terrain survivalist bikes. The tires were like balloons and provided flotation or containers for extra fuel.

And they still make them today!

I've always thought they were cool, but pointless for where I live.
