Helmet painting/touching up...what to use!?
What is the best "over the counter" paint or marker to paint pieces of a helmet? Someone said black permanent marker but I dunno how that would turn out What about model airplane paint or the such? Or would that not hold up. If feasible, I'd prefer something in a utensil or stencil rather than brush. Any ideas?

Hmmmm, a dodgy job at the best of times , but a part paint ?? dunno about that ?
What is the helmet made of ? polly carb ? fiberglass ect ....
The type of helmet will determine the type of paint you use ...
As for getting it done and not making a hash of it , I spose that depends on how skilled you are with spray or brush mate ....
If it were me ...
(and I have never repainted a helmet because they never look good for long )
I would keep what you have .... or sell it and get another one perhaps ? there are some really good helmets around these days for not too much money ...
just my 2Cworth
