RE: anyone work for cycle gear?
I've never heard of a place that hired anyone but non certified techs... I'll be honest with you we had a girl who took the class and it seemed like she new less about the job than any normal person should know .... now I don't know if you can even work in a pharmacy when you're under 18 because of all the pills in there but let me say it's actually pretty good fun if you get along with the pharmacist
Can you send me a link to the class? I wanna see exactly what they plan on "teaching" you

i am a manager at the fast food place in which i work...and its pretty sad when they have kids running that place..and 1 aduld manager who works 3 days a week.. it kind of sucks tho..after 2 years im ready to move on..my dad owns a sawmill and the day i turn 18(5 months away) i am going to go work for him..so im just gonna wait it out till then..as for you, if you have an opportunity like this i would def. take it!

My bro was a tech and bro-in-law is a pharmasist and I've been told it is hard work if you have a fairly busy store. You have to deal with BS costumers, people trying to get fake scripts filled, insurance companies, and a whole lot more. It can pay well though and Walgreens I know for sure gives you your training for free but I think you might have to be 18 but don't hold me to that.

I worked for CVS for a year and Wal-Mart for 2 years then I worked at an independent pharmacy for about 6 months... My father owns quite a few independent pharmacies in South Georgia so I have been around it all my life.
Honestly, the way I remember it was filling bottles, counting pills (which eventually you will do in your dreams too), inputting perscriptions, running insurance, talking to customers about their pills, and just screwing around with the pharmacist... I promise there is nothing that class will teach you that you won't learn from a couple weeks of doing the job
