Anyone Use Bittorrent.com
Hello everyone...hope your day is going/went well. Just wondering if anyone else uses bittorrent.com or any other torrent site? I use it to keep up with some of the television shows I'm missing out on back home. So far, I've got the current season of Justice League Unlimited (yeah, I'm a huge Cartoon Network fan), and I'm downloading the Thundercats entire series to include the movie. Yeah...I'm dating myself but I dig the Thundercats
I've even downloaded a couple of episodes of Automan ("cursor" was always my favorite), and a few MotoGP races. There's a fellow here that has a satellite system and he charges reasonable prices for internet access, so I have a little entertainment if I'm not too beat at the end of the day. Takes a few hours, but by the time I get back to the hooch, the program's downloaded to my laptop. Anyway...if no one knew about it, it's a pretty good gig. Cheers!

Then I guess I shouldn't tell you I downloaded a few episodes of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, huh?
Yeah...the '80's were a wacky decade....I still remember my Atari 1600 and those freakin' cartridge games. Ahh...the salad days [Raising Arizona]

My favorite series was StarBlazers.......With Capitan Avatar......I also had/still have the original Atari 2600, 5200, and 7800...Coleco, too......along with probably 100 or so cartriges/boxes/instructions......I was ****-retentive about videogames when i was a kid......And im only 31.....
Yeah, I feel you on that one. When I first started, I found it confusing as well. Not as straight forward as Kazaa, and you have to have special codec or decompression programs to view the files. Just downloaded Underworld 2 (14 hours) and I had to download WinRAR to compile all the separate files/scenes into one continuous feed. If you don't have the right codec file, you'll just hear the show, not see it. With both instances, once I figured it out, no problem....but for a relative novice, it can be frustrating. There's also the issue of understanding "seeds" and "leeches"; the more seeds, the faster the download. I downloaded the Transformers (original season) and that took a whole week because the original file had no seeds...just one fat file. Yeah...it can be frustrating, but the end reward makes it worth it.
