Anyone race motocross??
I raced four wheelers(1988 TRX 250R that is for sale). I know you dirt bike guys are real fond of the quad riders(HaHa). Ive raced a few big nationals finishing in a decent 12th out of 40 at Loretta Lynns in B class in 2003.
I ran moto-x back in the late 80's and early 90's. Kinda got out of it when I found out about girls, cars, beers, girls and beer. I loved it... but there's something so much more for the raw speed on solid pavement. The risks are a lot higher, in a sense. I mean how many times a day do you crash and burn in the dirt? I did a lot, if I came home clean, it meant I broke my bike really early in the day.
i race motocross from time to time (5-10 times a year) and i would have to say that motorcross gets the adrenaline flowing quicker than street riding. when that gate drops, there is nothing like it. its a green light to abuse your bike and your body all for a trophy that costs 1/10 as much as it costs you to get to the track. and there is no feeling better than driving home from the track with your ankle in a brace and a muddy mess of a bike in the bed of your truck.
You said if perfectly NINE2NINE. It is hard to do a 90 ft. double on my F3.. and I dont really want to try it. PIZZLE.... yea i dont care for quads that much but 12th is crazy good at Lorettas for B class. There is nothing like reving your bike to the max for 15 minutes straight.
The only thing is that it gets pretty expensive after a while.
