usually this happens when you dont hit * or whatever to exit your VM after listening to your messages. all you gotta do usually is go back into the VM and then once it says no new messages, hit * until it exits the system.

 

Mine will do that ever so often. Just takes time to go away. I think its the network more than the phone.

 

So.. did you at least return the message?

(Lol aside from that... my phone does the voicemail icon thing too.. it just happens sometimes and fixes itself over a couple of hours or even a couple of days.. I just ignore it)

 

I support cell phones at my work, we just send a clear for that in a text message...but I have never had that happen on my Verizon phone...

 

Hit the send button, close phone then 30 seconds later it'll be gone
