Default anyone good with cell phones?

So yesterday I got a voice mail, listened to it and deleted it. But the little voice mail icon is still showing up on the screen... Ive checked my voice mails twice to make sure I dont have any skipped messages... none. Ive turned the phone off and back on, the voice mail icon is still there. Anyone know whats going on? Its an AT&T Samsung A737.

(also, I have a separate text message icon, so its not showing up due to a text/multimedia/browser message)

most phones in the voice mail options have an option to turn message indicator on or off, try that.

Cell phones are what I do!

Call customer care and get them to remove your voice mail box and then add it back on.

PM me if that doesn't work.

granted i dont have the same phone, but if i take my battery out (without turning the phone off) and then put it back in and reload everything it allows the phone to reset. problem solved. you could try that for a quicker fix than contacting a customer service rep

^ just tried it, the icons still there. Ill see if I cant play around with the options and turn the indicator off... would it be on the phones options or the actual voice mail options? If that doesnt work, Ill probably do what vp said (Id rather not make a customer service call if I dont have to)

okay, problem solved... leaving myself a voice mail (which was kind of fun "hey, chris... its chris. Ummm, give me a call."[8D] ) and deleting it worked.

Whenever that happens, I just call my voicemail again and go through a couple menu options, make sure it tells me I have no more messages, then disconnect. Usually does the trick, if it happens again to ya.
