Anyone ever seen a scooter accident?
Never even thought about it until today, i mean come on they are slow, light really how difficult can it be to keep intact.
So i'm following this guy home and i have a bad habit of "talking" to other bikers/ drivers when they are doing dumb stuff. And i come up behind what i thought was a bike, as i get closer realize its a scooter, guy is geared up to the hilt, had a nicer jacket then i wear. He is following a new Dmax with i'd say a 42ish foot gooseneck car hauler and he is following super close to him right dead center of the trailer, when i mean close i'm talking maybe 2 ft if that from the back of the trailer.
In my head i'm going you stupid **** he stops your toast, he has no idea your back there your dumb, next thing i know the trailer brake lights come on fast and the scooters doesnt SLAM right head first into the back of the trailer, they are doing maybe 35 or so when he hit, so i hit the brakes and my flashers thinking even though he on a scooter, no one will miss the massive red dodge stopped in traffic to protect him from gettin run over, i am human lol he gets right up looks around and right at me like ah crap someone saw, apparently the truck didnt even feel him as it leaves at the green light, he gets back up and on his scooter, pulls around the side of him and gives him the finger Doubt the driver will figure it out till he sees the helmet shaped dent in the back of his new trailer lol

That's a pretty funny story, Rs.
I see these clowns around here, too. Under 50cc, you just need a car license to ride them. 50cc is pretty dam small, but still dangerous for other reasons. Many riders just don't seem to respect laws and other traffic.
Anyway, you can't mention scooter crashes without showing this classic....

Yer ...that pole one is a classic ..lol ..I bet it bloody hurt though !!!!
If you have ever ridden on of those new flash looking scooters and was tempted to go a bit hard on it ...you will understand why they seem to be crashing more these days ....
I think some of the peeps that buy the newer flash ones , think that they can actually go and handle as good as they might look ??

Yeah, easy to come unstuck on, I blame those little wheels, but morons are morons what ever they ride. Thankfully they are classified as bikes here & you have do a bike training course at least.
My 1st courier job in Sydney (1969) I used to ride a Lambretta 150 special, had a ball riding around on it, lots of fun & I could have been oe of those two idiots on more than the odd occasion.
Check this out, just googled the model & came up with this, just a cut & paste & see the name on the model!!! ooh weird.
1961-1969
Lambretta Series 3, Li, TV, SX, GT, Special (Pacemaker)
Li 125 Series 3 - December 1961 - November 1967
Li 150 Series 3 - January 1962 - May 1967
TV 175 Series 3 - March 1962 - October 1965
TV (GT) 200 Series 3 - April 1963 - October 1965
Li 150 Special - September 1963 - October 1966
Cento (J98) - March 1964 - November 1965
Li 125 Special - October 1965 - January 1969

i had never seen the pole video thats funny, i do have to admit my brother bought one for his girlfriend awhile back, cheap chinese 50cc, it only became fun when we realized the fender will pull it out of mid air anywhere above about a 10 o clock wheelie, but you can powerslide it at 27 mph...just takes 10 minutes to get to 27 mph...Me and pimp juice gettin ready for some hardcore scooter shennanigans
