Anybody ever been stung while riding.
Yeh Soccer, I got a ticket in my own neighborhood while riding with mine up. It was 105 degrees out (hottest day in a very long time here in VA) The cop pulled me over I thought I might have been speeding but he said it was because my shield. He said that my windscreen doesn't count as a windshield. I ended up getting the ticket thrown out by taking the definition of windscreen and windshield to court.
ha, i've been stung twice this year, each time when i wasn't wearing my jacket in the stomach.
For the visor, that sucks. I ride with mine up all the time around here. put it down once I hit 40mph or if I'm behind a car, but always have sunglasses on to block my eyes anyway. ride around the cops like that almost everyday, must not be a bad thing here, or i'm just lucky

Yup, had a hornet hit the bottom of my helmet and end up inside my leather jacket. Stung me 4 times on the chest and stomach. Damn near fell off, trying to kill it and stay upright.
Must've looked funny to those around me on the freeway, but I didn't think so at the time.[X(]

^^ pretty much same thing with me. hit my helmet bounced down my shirt and ripped me apart. and i am VERY allergic to bees. luckily i was about 2 miles from home and got treatment right away.
After making a few clutch adjustments to the bike one hot day, I took her down the road a milefor ashake down run in a tank top (yeah...I know...I know... Don't flame me too badly). I rode through a swarm and got 6 or 7 inside my shirt. I was pounding my chest and stomach to try and squash them, but it was too little toolate. I probably got 5 or 6 stings out of it and avery goodlesson learned.

As for the bees, no bees but did have some weird bug got into my ear inside the helmet somehow and i had to pull over and take off my lid to get him out.
When I was kid we rode dirt bikes constantly. Nobody I grew up with had any gear at all, we just rode, usually in a T shirt and we always called the short sleeves "bee catchers" because someone usually got stung weekly by bees getting scooped up by those puffed out short sleeves........those suckers hurt!!!
