RE: Any Pit lovers???
I love my pit, Achilles (born WAAAYY before Troy came out). He just turned 8 last October 19th.
I do not like the general type of people that have pits though. I can't stand them, and moreso, I can't stand them telling me how tough they think their dog is and listening to blood lines and males and females and pups and... blah blah blah.
I love my dog, that's all I have to say about that.
(Just for the record I am in no way assuming the threadstarter is one of the aforementioned morons)

Maybe I can loan you guys my stepdaughter's cat for a "play date". I can see where you are coming from as far aswho ownsthat breed of dog. I would generally think of a mullet having, Hamms drinking, single wide mobileliving, acid washed jean wearing, white trash redneck as a typical Pit Bull owner, but that is just a crude stereotype, and probably has nothing to do with you fine gents! Myself, I've ALWAYS wanted a Basset Hound...at least as long as I wanted a motorcycle.

my boys name is Ryder. he is almost 2yrs and is the most lovable dog i have ever owned. Pits are great dogs they just get bad reps b/c if you raise a pit to be mean they can do some damage. mineis great with all my buddiesdogs and has never snapped at anyone.he deffinitely likes to destroy stuff though. (i.e. pictured chair)

RE: Any Pit lovers???
I like pits but have never owned one. For the most part grew up with the same stereo-type as many, but met a good buddy who had two, and they were the most laid back coolest dogs ever, kids would wrestle with em and slap em around, the dogs were very patient and understanding. What I like about them is there is no real concern with medical issues assosiated with the breed. But like mentioned, allot of knuckleheads make it hard on the other responsible owners
