I used to be obsessed with Mario Kart 64... the battle mode with 4 people was the best!

This game is the first game I ever lost to my son. He was about 11 and I was pissed! Actually, it was Crash Bandicoot (same thing). I was such a poor sport, poor kid didn't want to play against me anymore. I can be such an immature dad sometimes!

I've got a Wii and you can download this for the virtual console but you have to have one of the other controllers other than the wiimote so I don't have it yet... but my girlfriend is pushing me to buy one of those controllers just for her to play it... I'll probably break down it was a badass game for its day

I knew this thread would be the work of James once I saw the title.

I loved playing that game on the Nintendo 64.

A couple of years ago, we got my 6-year old son a Game Cube. Double Dash was the first game I bought for him. I still play it every now and then with him. He is Autistic and is very good at his particular game.

I could sense James at work by the title alone as well...scary! As long as I am not in public, I think I still have a right to beat my kids and call it corporal punishment . I actually prefer stealth, strategy, and squad based games anyway. I've given up on the racing and first person shooters against his cat like reflexes. The kid is now thrirteen and has ice in his veins.
