I was AT the race...amazing!!!

 

Its was an epic battle between two great riders. Never seen such a dogfight in a long time. The footage of Rossi's edge of tire flapping into pieces was awesome. Can't imagine they nearly collided side by side a couple of times.

 

Rossi had an endless bag of tricks this weekend.

 

^^Yes he did. Not the least being a few carefully placed comments about Stoner and the Ducati. Tell the press your rival is uncatchable (other than by shooting him lol), the pressure on you and your team lessens considerably. Then on raceday when you spank their asses, the crowd loves it, and they love you. His name is Valentino, after all. My guess is he knew all along this weekend, in his little charismatic Italian heart, that Laguna Seca would finally remove her panties for him...
