Obviously such a horrible act deserves an adequate response. It seems as though adequate judicial action is being taken upon the perpetrators. Judging from the pictures it looks as though the riots have taken on the air of a "youth uprising", which can be very attractive to a young person, however, it is seemingly unwarranted. Then again, I don't know that much about Greek politics.

Reminds me of riots we had here in Cincinnati a few years back. Same deal, cops kill kid, 5 days of chaos ensue.

During the Rodney King riots in LA most of the rioters were not even black. They were idiots that took the opportunity to act out. Most of the people couldn't care less about the person that they claim to be representing.

Statistics will bury you out on that one let's don't even discuss the damage to personal property of shopkeepers, car owners or others who are burdened with extensive losses and in the end who pays society itself

Here's an update. The riots continue. My ex-pat cousin is trying to get out of the country and come to the states for the holidays with his 5 year old daughter. This situation is making it pretty hard for him to get out of the country. I hope he can make it...
