Congrats for real tho, i was first generation born here in the US my family came from Europe, and i bet my parents felt the same way when they got theirs!

Well done man and congrat's, another quick 3 to 5 years and you can obtain full citizenship for about 695 bucks application fee and 145 bucks for a passport ....
then you are home free in the land of liberty

Register to vote only AFTER you become a full citizen ..........do it before that and it
will "delay"or "negate" a full citizenship application process ..... just a heads up on that man !

congrats.

i have been in the states since 1994. joined USMC in 2000 got out 2003 and married an american girl, have 4 kids born as citizens of this country and yet im not a citizen.

damn, i have to get my citizenship. thx for the reminder jpan.

Also cool to hear your Dad moved over and is doing the american dream of owning/operating something he can call his own...

bet its good money as well haha.... i wish i could open up my own shop

also to the other posters... strange to hear about so much immigrating going on (in the forums lol)... i mean i know/knew it happened alot but I dont know anyone personally that has...
