My father helped design DFAS.
Yes but I'll bet that check on the 15th this was before the bureaucrats really got a hold of it [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

The U.S. Army age 42 so last I heard with no prior service trying to stay PC here but that's got to be like geriatric boot camp but F3 could probably better answer that question or doogStar

The max age is 44 right now. Army is a good choice. Its not for everyone though. Going in as an officer, you'll make really good money by your 6 year mark. Any info you need specifically, im here to answer.

I personally dont care for officers, seems like they step out of their lane and into nco's lane. Ive met good LT's but ive also met "over-paid privates" that believe they know so much more and have never been to combat. Maybe its just in the Cav. The only officers I have much respect for are Warrent, and ill be dropping that packet during my next tour in about 45 days. As for marines....I dont care for somebody...some people that believe they are the greatest gift since sliced bread. Ive met several former marines that came to my side and hated the corp, no it wasnt cause they were p.o.s. they were actually squared away. You cant just critisize the army and what you believe when there are p.o.s. in every branch. As far as the sniper situation, you might as well go threw SFAS you stand a better chance there. What up Doog??

Now got two questions concerning this 42-year-old enlistment, the 20/55 rule cannot be in effect and if there's not something special going on for them. They're getting screwed. Next question is, and this has to do totally with your guys side of the house I'm wondering if a 42-year-old can sign a 18X contract just throwing it out there, wish we had a recruiter in the House. I'd love to hear the story behind a 42-year-old goning sf
