Thought we'd take a leaf out of Schira and learn2go's book and post up some pics!

Today Will and I made a day-long roadtrip to Tyler... at least that's what I thought was happening. Turns out he had an ulterior motive but we will get to that in a minute. :-) Lots of pics so I'll just get to it!

once we got into Tyler proper, Will handed me a sheet of directions and told me to give him the turns as we were traveling - we wound up in the parking lot of a Best Buy. I still had no clue what was going on so I say cool! let's check it out - it's alot bigger than the one at home so I'm thinking it will be fun to look around in. So we go in and Will walks determinedly toward the digital cameras. There is one I've been wanting fiercely for awhile now so I thought they might have it in stock. By the time I catch up, the deal has mostly already taken place and Will is about to walk out with my new Canon s5-is!!!!! (and a new 2gig card!) (INSERT*Thanks BlueFox for the glowing opinion - I thought I wanted one before but after your comments I knew!*)

The minute we get out to the parking lot I tear into the box and get it put together. These are the results!















Will decided to drive a little to fast for the local cops on the way home though... tsk tsk tsk!







we decided to attend the local bike night at Logan's as well - mostly cruisers and such but there were a few sportbikes around!



I'm still just fascinated with my new camera - it makes AMAZING photos!!!!





Will took his little sister Amanda for her first spin on the bike EVER. She loved it and can't wait to go again :-)



We then proceeded to find a mostly empty parking to take some beauty shots of the new rimtape!

lol its just a pose hes not really cuffed..... if they cuff you they make you sit on a curb with an officer standing right next to you at all times or locked in the back seat of the car.... ask me how i knw this....NUAHGYT NAUGHTY!

sorry I couldn't resist though - I'm ALWAYS getting questions about when I'm going to make it pretty again... I have to resist the urge to tell them that I'll make it pretty again when I learn to ride decently

oh and the plastics are actually in the process of being put on today!! woohoo! it's been a long six months but the day is finally here

well you see.... it happened like this.....

I was going down the road about 75 and I was bored...... so I decided to be a squid......
annnnnnnnnnnnd pop a wheelie right in front of the po-po then run!
Thought I'd be cool man and duck into a rest area but I got busted [sm=headbang.gif]

saw the cop car and we decided to have a good time with him! The whole time the cop was on the sidewalk looking at me like "what the heck are you doing?"
