ABS standard for Honda in '09?
Looks like it...

thoughts?
the only thing i see is it taking away from the "raw" sportbike, just you, throttle, brakes, no ECU's in the way manipulating your movements.
just my $0.02
oh yeah, plus it adds 22lbs.

It's still just you, throttle, and brakes...there's just a wider envelope to catch those who tend to brake with four fingers...and smoother modulation should be a benefit to those who can use it.
I'll bet it gets widely adopted all the way up to AMA Superbike, but not so much in SBK and MotoGP, until all the riders are from the generation that started on linked braking. Probably the top teams already have a form of it anyway.

ewww, no.... they need to put their research moneyinto other things, likebuilding an electric motorcycle, more MPG,horsepower,and/or less weight.
it might be nice, but what is the point? i rarely lock up the tires and i do it on purpose. And how much will this extra cost be on the bike? ($100? $200?) if it's that much, it's better to throw on a wave rotor which is less likely to lock up the wheels.
once again, pointless in my opinion.
