'97 600 f3 vs. ninja500r...
What do you guys think would win in a 1/4 mile, a basically stock f3 or a ninja 500r that has been stroked to 650cc and has a lot of "engine mods" as I've been told.
I've still never seen the 500r but the guy that has it said he would easily beat me in a race.
I still am having trouble figuring out why anyone would ever do that much work to such a crappy little bike.
ps he's trying to sell it for $6000, (msrp on a new one is $5000).

well just tell him to man up and meet ya @ the track . im always tired of hearing ppl brag about their **** and never show it. so go beat that ninja then come back and brag that your stock f3 (f3 pride ) beat his "super modified bad ***" ninja 500.. if possible bring pictures or a time slip

The guy that worked on my F1 years ago raced in the 250 and 500 class.
IIRC he had a Yamaha Seca(?) that was race modified and WAY fast. Of course this was a few years ago, and 600's weren't the monsters they are today.
Size alone does not always dictate how fast a bike can be......track times alone, his 250 smoked my 600 every time.

haha this is really funny that you'd post this up I just want into a guy at the stealership ridinga 96 600 f2/3 (I don't know which) with "every mod possible"who said he smokes hayabusas and my 954 "wouldn't stand a chance"...
I basically called him out on it like "if you have to say its fast its never as fast as you want me to think" then we all laughed at him and I walked away

were talking a ninja 500, which kawasaki never intended to be a "fast" bike vs an f3 which was at one point the pinnacle of honda's 600cc racing design.
now he may have bored +stroked it to 650cc, its possible, but simply "hot rodding" a jap enginelike you would an inefficient stock musclecar is not going to take it's numberseven close to an ultra efficient, straight from the factory600cc racing machine.
