2010 Suzukis... MIA?

Thats the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If they weren't importing them to the states then there wouldn't be endless American magazine articles about the bike. As said before Suzuki sells more street bikes then just about any other manufacturer so it would be a bonehead move not to import them to the states.

That was back in 09. Its end of January 2010 now. Honda, Kawasaki and even Beull (being out of business and all) have updated their US websites with the 2010 lineup...
Suzuki USA still lists 09 only. Suzuki Canada lists the 2010 models.

A very smart move in my opinion. at least, a much smarter move than what Honda did in 09, and flood the market even further with basically the same bike as the 08. Now look at Honda, they are still trying to unload 08 models, with the 09 and 10 model being basically the same.
What people don't seem to understand is it costs a lot of money...... a lot of money to have bikes sitting on showroom floors. If Suzuki has enough bikes left over from 09 to fill the expected 10 demand, then why on earth build more bikes that are the same bike? There would absolutely no reason to compete with yourself, and thats what they would be doing. Competing their 10 model with basically the same bike, but cost less in the 09. Nothing hurts sales more than an identical bike that can be had for thousands less.

Nah, justasquid. That's the stupidest thing people have ever heard apparently
Might make financial sense. But I can't see 'busa and gixxer fans taking it well, even if they weren't prepared to buy a 2010. Wonder how long before motorcycle manufacturers just start releasing yearly fairing kits and doing major updates every 2-4 years.

It makes me wonder though. Just think how limited of a build they could do for 2011, and then rake people over the coals for thier bikes.
If you think about it. Its not all that different than what the big 4 do right now. There are quite a few models in all of thier line ups that are not offered in the US, but offered overseas.
