RE: 2009s?

Last I heard, it will be an option on 09 models and standard in 2010...but that may have changed.

The biggest change for literbike class will be the R1, the rest I don't think so.

Integrating the turn signals is the only thing I can think of that I'd l i k e to see. I'm thinking of buying an 08 anyways.

What are your thoughts on the linked ABS braking system?
Think its a good thing or no?

RE: 2009s?

I am still trying to learn a little bit more about this new system.

The first question I had was about the calculation of the weight distribution by this electronic controller unit.

Of course the system will work perfectly, when trying to stop at traffic lights. My questions are more about how this system will respond to survival reactions of a person in an emergency situation? Is there any other benefits besides preventing our tires getting locked at the time of breaking?

EDIT: Let me add this map I found:

I think the 600RR is due for a slipper clutch.

the 08s and 09s will almost be identical....minor differences every 2 years.

I think the 600RR is due for a slipper clutch.
I second that.......after riding a track bike equipped with a slipper clutch, riding without one just doesn't feel right. :) And I'm sure that's what the outcome will be once we get our ABS system.

Can you explain the difference....I'm a lil bit ignorant....?
