They may stick with this design another year,,,,,,,,<gazing into my crystal ball> I say 2010 it gets a redesign...but not a bunch. How much can they improve?

What I would like to see:

Integrated turn signals

Gear Indicator <tired of "shifting" into "7th" gear>

Maybe some different rims..though the three spoke has been a staple for years

Slipper clutch?

Some different color options <European>

Well if they follow their production pattern '09 will be a new design..
Every 2 yrs they make minor changes, every 4 its a whole new design

There will definitely be a "refreshed" version for 09/10 model years. (just like the 05/06 refresh of the 03/04 models). The market is too competitive right now for Honda to even consider keeping the same design around for 3 years (to be honest, the design is already a bit dated compared to the latest and greatest bikes coming out).

I'm expecting some minor tweaks here and there in the engine, handling and chassis. Slightly higher power, maybe it'll loose a pound or two. I'm thinking the side fairings will be reworked a little to flow with the bike a little better. Perhaps the taillight will get a reworking (since that's the biggest complaint with the 07/08 models)

One thing I'm really hoping they really work on is the power band. It seems like the 07 has a few more power drop off points throughout the powerband than the 06 models had. Just seemed like the 06 accelerated from lower RPM's smoother than the 07's............I know it's not what they're built for, but it does it enough to be an annoyance.

But I'm definitely betting on an 09 refresh.

Whaddya mean?Just take a look at the production-year models:D

I would like to see the front fairing widened a bit and NO MORE TANK COVERS! I don't like 'em. I like the fairing design now, but it's almost R1'ish. I liked how Honda held bold lines in the bodywork, made it look "sharp," while Yamaha has that origami thing going on...

I still like the rear end but after seeing what you guys have for space back there, it would probably be nice to have some sort of storage available on the newer bikes. I mean, they're not racebikes, okay barely but still. Street riders need a bit more built in storage... though I don't see that at the top of the R&D list at Honda.
