Got to love the great cold weather we have here in Chicago. If you're just going to ride on the street then i would say the RR. They are known for being more comfortable (although the seat is not great but I don't know of any sportbike with a great seat)and great overall performance. These RR's aren't amazing in one area but great in all areas. Also the reliability of the Honda's are unbeatable. And the RR's look better IMO.

Hands down the RR....bike just looks and handles better...what's the dry weight differences between these anyway?

Whatever you can get for cheaper. You won't be disappointed in either model. The 600 models come down to preference as performance numbers are almost identical.

the ZX6r is going to put you in a more aggressive position, while the 600RR will be more comfortable on longer rides.

One thing you should consider is modifications on both bikes (like which one has more of the modifications that you will want...and the price of the mods they don't have that you would want).

And get insurance quotes on both if you're getting comprehensive. Theft rate may affect insurance costs

If you want a Kawi I'd say find an '06 Zx-6R 636 so you can have 130hp in a 600. My buddy just picked one up and I gotta say I think I like it a little bit more than the '07 RR he had before that.
