If i were to buy anything new i'd go for the 1000RR with the yellow and blue. Man, it looks awesome.

 

i suspect i will get some flame for this, but as far as the performance of the 2006 CBR goes i'd prolly ride the gixxer 06. its redesigned and faster than the honda THIS YEAR, just wait till Honda shows you whats up with 2007, i suspect lighter, more power, slipper clutch, and a new look, like what they did for the 1000RR. this is the last year for this 600RR as it is. the development cycle is next year.


PS: the honda still looks better

 

It's not about the forum or the people, it's about the bike. Suzuki is all I have ever owned and they have treated me very very well. I'm not rich by any means so I bought what I could and it happened to be a honda. As long as I have a honda and I need help with it I'll be here. Everyone wishes thay had a bigger house or a hotter girlfriend or a nicer car. Is there a problem with that?

 

HAHA, oh so the Gixxer is the bigger house or better car or hotter girlfriend. In my opinion, I think the Gixxer tanks are to damn fat and the bike crushes my nuts when i ride them. I wouldnt ever buy a ****zuki. I would ride my friends bike just for the heck of it but I would never own one.

Ya I was going to say that too, the Honda is more expensive. I just got the Honda because ever since I think 98-99 I wanted an F4i.

I would always buy Honda...on name alone. They have established themselves as a super power when it comes to anything with an engine on it. Generator, lawn mower, car...if they made a toilet seat I would buy it. Also, the local Suzuki shop treated me like I was a drain on their day. Making a recent first purchase, I was intimidated enough, but that guy was a jerk. The Honda shop made me feel at ease, and I believe I went with the better manufacturer anyway.

 

yo around me honda isn't the most expensive, it's the gixxer and yams...

right now...gixxer has got the ups on the RR...but we'll see what happens next year though.

i really like gixxers, but mang...honda's reliability and eveness in all areas of performance plays a biggy too...I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It would ultimately matter how you are going to ride? A serious track rider? You need to get the fastest machine out there. On the road? The rider makes more of the difference than the bike as does that 'all around' category which Honda rules.

 

I really don't care what bike anyone buys get the one that you like and makes you happy I'll still wave to you when we pass by. Unless you're on a cruiser because 75% of the time when I wave to them around here they look like they want to come kill me with their **** skin head KKK friends. Being in Wisconsin I see A LOT of Harley people, heck the credit union I work for is the Harley credit union. I've only passed one sports bike rider who hasn't waved back he was on a gixxer looking like the standard suzuki rider, atleast around here, shorts, tshirt, sandals, really hot chick on the back (I was jealous) wearing daisy dukes and a tank top. I waved on a 25mph road and he just stared me down. I was like you jerk. Whatever though my bike was newer than his so haha! =P
