1st bike? who's still got'em, and how long?
buahahahahah. first bike? my first bike is bent in half and that was after going down about 10 times. However, it did teach me to stunt, ride fast, trail brake, keep maximum corner speed, and lowside. Emphasis on the low side. I learned that you cannot just lean more to turn harder...there is a point where you run out of tire.
Im still riding my first. 01 F4i. I also will hold on to this bike for a long time, because im broke, have no other mode of transportation, and i love her. I got her a few months ago, clocked almost 1oooo miles already. Riding back and forth from Kansas City to Oklahoma city will do it.
Honestly, i dont feel that there is anything better than a 6 hour highway ride, mid summer. I love to ride and i dont ever wanna give that, or my first bike up.

I don't know what I would have done starting out on something with a hundred horsepower like most of you guys. Each time I got to ride my friend's ZX-7 I thought I was going to die from the pleasure. I didn't get a 600 until a year and a half later and then finally the 900RR eighteen months after that. Haven't bought a new bike since.
my first was a 86 honda shadow 500, i bought it at 9 am when they opened, tagged and registered it, drove it til 7:45pm when it died got to a gas station filled it up, bike was runnin funny so i checked the oil and found that my oil looked like antifreeze mixed w/ it ...yea! its still sittin in the shed. 2nd bike was a 1992 ex500 kawasaki it still runs fine ...its sittin in the shed now as well. 3rd bike 2005 honda 600rr is my current rider , i will eventually get rid of them all cept the 600rr, they served their purpose to get me accustomed to bikes and get my newb bike drops outta the way so hopefully thiose are out of my system for the most part

First bike is my current 02' f4i. Bought this year (8.3.07) with 13k on it.
Just got a little over 23k on it this weekend. 10k in 4 months, yeah I would say its a passion.
I cant believe I waited this long to get a bike. I grew up around them. My first day of kindegarden was on the back of my dad's harley. I now know why my parents would disapeer for weekends or weeks at a time, while I was kickin it with the grandparents.
