Carlisle Bike Fest

 

Me and burk were talking about it a few weeks ago.
I'm considering going for sure. It's only about 40mins from me.

 

Think its like 2 hrs for me. Doable but definitely won't hit the biker's ball

 

I am going for sure, this is my technical vacation, were gonna have a caravan rolling out from the pgh area. 3-4 bikes as well as 2 or 3 cars, we goin out on bikes are goin for the weekend. 10 days!! GAH CANT WAIT

 

So did anybody go? I was there on Saturday. Pretty cool when that dude had his girl do the burnout competition on his bike in a mini-skirt and the bike caught on fire.

 

Saturday I was near passing out at work... Seriously. Left work early cause I couldn't breathe

However a group from work went early Sat morning. If I knew I was only going to work a half day, I'd have called out sick and went with them

 

That sucks you were feeling chitty, Kuro, and work almost screwed me out of going. (got called in)
I finally just got really pissed at my job and called my buddy back and said "**** it, we're going. I'll meet you up there"
Pretty standard outing. Bunch of vendors, stunt show, burnout comp, bikini contest, bike givaway, etc. We had a good time. It was brutally hot, tho. I think I drank like 3gals of water.

 

was gonna go,its only bout 20 minutes from me, had stunt practice. shoulda went this place hanover powersports closed down and had tons of **** up there they had 09 icon jackets for 50 bucks oh well i guess. whos down for bike night in york in sept????

 

is this yearly event?

 

yeah carlisle has a couple car shoes/bike shows every year annually. I'll be there this year too. Just bought me a cbr, so if anyone is looking to catch up with some other riders down there I'll be looking for a crowd.
