Hello all in the CBR Forum, I just got my first bike about 2 weeks ago, a 2005 CBR 600RR, (yea i know not a very wise choice for a new rider), but what an awesome bike. I have only been able to take it out a few times since I only have my learners and not alot of my friends have bikes. For one the weather has been HORRIBLE here in my area with rain almost every day. I actually went for a ride yesterday which was i think my fourth time on the bike and got caught in a thunderstorm. I guess ill consider it a good experience because next time i wont take my chances riding when theyre calling for thunderstorms. I have also signed up for the first motorcycle safety class that was available and that wont be until July 21st so i have a while to practice. Anyhow i look forward to being part of the community here!!!

My first bike was an 02 F4i (still have it) and that may have not been a smart move either. But starting my 5th year on it and haved loved it all along. Ride to your ability, stay safe.
