Thumbs up Whats crackin'?

Hey my name is Jed. I just bought an 89 cbr600f, and am working on making it a bad *** ("real") streetfighter. I hope to gain some insight, share ideas, and contribute as much as possible. I also like long walks on the beach and shinny stuff.

I plan on a build thread, but I'm going to wait to post it until I get the money for what I want to do with it. When I got it about a week ago I realized the front brakes were not in top shape, so I pulled the the engine to paint it and the frame. I was planning on doing a street fighter, and make it look good. But last night I found motorcyclefairingsrus.com and realized that I can get a full plastic setup for $490 painted and I might go that direction now, not sure. Do any of you guys have experience with that company?

Here is the bike when I got it, I dig the yellow but the fairings are not in the greatest shape.

I taped off the engine to paint frame satin black (just primer now, waiting on paint).

I decided that was half-*** and I wanted to do it right, and paint the engine at the same time.

I've got lots of pics, and will be making a build thread, I'm just afraid it might be stagnant for a couple weeks. I'm trying to sell my cello for bike funds, and its a very small market.
