Default WHAT UP?

Hey guys,, I just bought a 2001 CBR F4i from my uncle for $3200.00, the bike has never been laid over or even dropped. The bike on has 6300 miles on it (he never rode it). My question is this,,, I'm 6'1, 195lbs, I feel like I'm to tall for the bike. Can I raise the bike to make it more confortable? By doing this will it screw up the handling? Actually,, I like it how it is, and it turns into a beast at 8000 rpm's. But the whole making me feel short thing worries me. Any suggestions?

Also, Considering this bike has never been raced, stunted, or remotly ragged on,,Was it a good buy for $?

yeah i would say you got a good price on it as for the being to tall thing i dont think 6'1 is so much that you would need to raise the bike.. you should be happy most people have to lower there bikes to feel comfortable on it.. at least you can plant your feet down

I'm 6'1" (a little over) on an '06 600RR and love the fact that it makes me feel short. Having both feet flat with knees bent sitting at a stoplight rockz.

Yeah, guess ya'll are right,, I'm getting use to it. I think I'm to use to my dirtbikes. Anyhow, another question,,, My F4i,, When on the rear brake,,,,, ok,, when testing my rear brakes to see just how fast I can stop with out locking it up, I noticed a clinging sound,,, Almost sounds like the rear end is moving forward????? I can't really tell when I'm on the bike cause of the obvious, I'm on the damn bike,,,, I did lift the rear end up and tried to pull and push on the wheel to see if I could move it, however, no luck,,, Is it a safety feature or what?? Hit me back please! TY I'd rather know before something falls off, LOL
