well i've gone and done it!!!
hello all!
I'm chris, noob to the forum and cbr's. i'm male, 31, from kent and i've just put my money down on a 2010 cbr 600rr (pick it up in a week or so). been riding for 25 years now, from schoolboy motocross, little bits of enduro, a few years of formula2 sidecars (we were running cbr fsi engines now i think back) had road bikes on and off through the years, as well as enduros,motards etc. I decided about six months ago that as my backside could take the motard no longer than 80 miles id sell it and buy something more suitable for days out riding rather than blasts. I build cars for a living and love my bikes! look forward to getting involved and riding around!!!

no mate wasn't any in the shop at the time (not really a fan to be honest). we (UK) have different options of colour, (leyla was one) but i went for red/black it is almost an exact copy of a us 09 spec. uk 09 was a different red/black and a red/white (among others)

I bought the 600RR new last year and absolutely love it ... best bike ever for me!! :-)

The new 600RRs are so sweet. Congrats, man. I think the red/black was a good choice. Classic look... never goes out of style.
Anyway, good to have you here. This forum is the perfect place to read up on your new bike before you get it. Plenty of cool 600RR guys/girls to chat with. Enjoy the forum and ride safe!!
