I am new to the site. I just bought a new (2006) cbr600rr. all I can say is "holy sh*t"!!! I have never road(driven) anything as fast as this. the spedo can't keep up with the speed. I haven't ridden for about 3 years and had forgotten how fun , and scary, a bike is. I have been surfing the site and think my fist mod will be slidders. I know sooner or later I will lay it down, not at high speed but maybe in a gravel parking lot. I do not look forward to that day but , I know it will happen. I have seen a lot of sliders with a big price differance, does anyone have suggestions for the right brand and place to buy? thanks...

I just bought my 4th bike, a CBR 1000RR. I have put frame sliders on all of my bikes. The base mounts to the frame of the bike and the puck attaches to the base. I was also told that because it mounts on the frame it is a lot stronger than the other type.
