Starter motor Constant (hot wired) Help!!
Hi all,
my solenoid has burnt out and iv had to replace it, yet new solenoid is in place and
the starter motor will constantly turn iv had to remove the battery to stop it.
Heres where im stuck?????
i have pulled the starter fuse ( assuming if there is a short with the ignition switches this will break the circuit and if the starter doesn't fire problem points that direction) tested and starter motor fires no keys no fuse and kill switch set to kill..?? ok.
so i pull the solenoid fuse also 30amp and still once the battery is connected up boom spark and starter motor still turns.
so im at a bit of a loss? am i correct in thinking that the fuses are breaks in the circate?
my conclusion is that the solenoid must be a dud? or there is a short between the front ignition fuse and the solenoid.
but if that be the case with out the 30amp shouldn't it not fire at all ?
any second opinions ?
thanks in adviance

CBR 600F3 98. iv stripped it ll down its just sat there in bits, looking sorry for its self lol.
back story is there was a problem with the charging system so after trouble shooting that with a new R/R stater and battery solved it for 2 weeks now boom solenoid burnt out. so im guessing there is short somewhere but trying to locate it is a pain. as soon as i hook the battery up the starter fires up until it kills the battery

Removing the 30 amp fuse interrupts the power to the starter button, which pulls in the starter solenoid when you push it.
However there is an unfused supply from the battery across the solenoid contacts and to the starter motor (see .jpeg attached).
So, if the solenoid contacts are welded or the solenoid stuck in the “made” position the result will be what you have.
