Default Saying hello (Lancashire, UK)

Thought I would say hello after lurking around for a while! I've had a CBR600F for a couple of weeks now. She's an old girl, a 1999 FX model (aluminium frame and carbs).

I got it for a good price after spending forever looking at bikes, like the ER6-F, GSX-650F, older ZX-6's, Hornets, but finally went for a CBR and am well pleased with it.

I'm looking to smarten it up and get it running really sweet so hope you don't mind a few questions

Welcome to the CBR Forum Paradroid,

Despite a few small nicks and cuts still a good looking CBR.

Have a look through the forum, you'll find a daughter board dedicated to your bike model. Losts of very experience people there so ask any questions you like.

Cheers, SB

Nice looking bike Paradroid, welcome to the forum. As Seb mentioned, there's a dedicated section for your bike if you need specific advice.

Thanks for the welcomes everybody! I think the bike still looks nice, only the single lamp dates it a bit. I wanted an f4 but couldn't find a really tidy model for the right money so decided to spend a lot less on this FX, and so far so good
