Default Roadrashed 1000rr

Hola from Magnolia Tx. Just picked up and 04' 1000rr with 600 miles & severe road rash due to a moron who stole it from a friend. I'm now in the process of replacing parts, skin, etc.; but also getting informed about this horsepower heavy bike. My normal ride is an 03' bmw k1200rs. I'm having a good time learning about the bike & all the goodies available to make it "special." I hope I can get info from you guys on what & where to buy & what not to buy. I've already found out my local Honda dealership is the place to bend over & get reemed with a clip on sideways.

Regards,
PrairiePete

Welcome to the forum prairiepete. Some of the stealers.. aka dealers like to use a strap-on occasionally. You should be able to find better deals on the net. Great find on a 04 1000RR with 600 miles, not even broken in yet.

hello and welcome to the site! good luck with the build-up. and like everyone said, stay away from the dealers for parts. i always have used www.bikebandit.com for oem parts. they give discounts for ama members. just something to keep in mind

I tried to upload pics right off the bat to show but got "file too large message." Wow, this really is a big bike!

LOL Open the pictures in a photo program like paintshop or photoshop or something like that and resave them after you decrease the image size as a jpeg file. If you have trouble with this feel free to send them to me and I will fix it for you.....
