Welcome to the forum.

Mods are best when done in your garage or a friends. TN is a little far away for me to know of any shops. What kind of mods are you thinking about? There's a lot of things we can give you tips on. How far away from The Dragon are you? I'll be making a couple of trips (I hope) this year so we can meet up for a ride.

yeah, doing it myself is what i had in mind! it's just finding what i need for a 2007! i've got frame sliders, flush mounts, swing arm spools, viper alarm, and bar ends on the way! should be here tomorrow!!! mainly i am looking to geta tail light with the blinkers and tail light all in one, so i can get rid of that bulky tail light-blinker and tag holder that comes factory!! no luck so far everything goes through 2006! by the way from what i hear i am about 30 min. away from the "dragon"

30 minutes .... you lucky bastard.... I'd be in a lot of pain, a lot of trouble or in great shape if I lived that close. When I go there, my cabin rentals are more than 30 minutes away. I'll assume you'll be spending a lot of time there this season. Don't let the name or rumors sike you out. It's very dangerous if you don't have respect. For your skills, bike and the road. Just go and ignore all of the other riders. Take your time and go through it slow to see what you're up against and then go through at your own pace.

If you have pics of your bike, post them up. I'd like to see what it looks like before and after your work. I don't know of anyone that has done the frame sliders on an 07 yet but we can figure it out. I like the laser level method that eliminates all errors. As for the tail light, if I can see pics of your 07 off the bike, I'll match it up to mine and see if they look like they will work. Or you can call any of the shops that have them and ask if it will fit.

If I can help any, let me know.

Congrats on your bike...my advice on mods is to do the slowly and enjoy the process. After you get used to your bike you want to change a few things to make it suit you better. My suggestions are HIDs and sliders for now, some of the more cosmetic stuff may take a while since the 07 is so new.
