Hi guys,
The F4 is a good bike, for my skills is enough.
The bike had an accident and fell to the left side. The alternator is damage.
So I started researching bikes works just with battery. And in the american races everyone used that mechanism.
And i need some help. the CDI that you guys use is from original F4 or used from RR.
Flywheel is remove completed? what is the best battery to use? brand?
I use Kit dynojet a K&N filter; advance ignition and a laser Hot cam exhaust.
Thanks,
PS- how to insert pictures directly from my computer?

Welcome to CBRF, Rui!
The Sachs is badass! That's a sweet looking bike. I'm sure it's a lot of fun to hold that thing wide open and ring her guts out!
Sorry to hear about the cover on the F4. It sounds like you have it sorted. As far as running with a battery alone - I don't know about which battery to run in order to give you the most juice. It depends on how long your sessions are and how long you have in between sessions to charge up. I know you can get batteries that weigh in at 1 lb (.5kg) - but I wouldn't think you could run them that long at total loss - and they don't charge well. I'd just replace the stator/flywheel and run a MOTY 4 cell battery.
Although - it'd be cool as you could probably save 10lbs by ditching the stator/flywheel/starter and the motor would rev quicker. But you could almost save that much weight on a battery alone.
